Alpendra is an early-stage startup based in Hamburg, Germany. We are responsible (the “controller”) for the processing of personal data on this website under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you visit it, Vercel automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, and your browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and to detect abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data may be processed in the USA; Vercel provides appropriate safeguards for such transfers (EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
When you request a demo, we collect the information you enter: your name, work email, organisation, sector and team size, plus the language you used on the site. We use it only to respond to your request and arrange a tailored demo. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
The form is processed by Formspree, Inc. (USA), which forwards your request to our mailbox. Our email is hosted by Zoho Corporation (EU data centre). We keep demo requests for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and delete them when they are no longer needed, unless statutory retention periods apply.
If you email us at team@alpendra.com, we process your email address and the content of your message to reply to you. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) to understand how visitors use this website. Analytics is loaded only after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner; IP addresses are anonymised. Google may process data in the USA. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie Settings” in the footer.
This website loads fonts from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited). To do so, your browser connects to Google servers, which receive your IP address.
To show the site in your language, we first use your browser’s language setting. If that is not English, French or German, the site asks ipapi.co for the country of your IP address to choose a language. Legal basis for both: our legitimate interest in presenting the website correctly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We store your language choice (alpendra_lang) and your cookie choice (alpendra_consent) in your browser’s local storage. They stay on your device and are not sent to us. Google Analytics sets its own cookies only if you consent.
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. To exercise any of these rights, email team@alpendra.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (HmbBfDI).
